I (J.H. Hulstijn) am responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement.

PERSONAL DATA
I am obliged to state which personal data are collected by visiting my website and when you use the contact form. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
• name (as provided by you in the contact form)
• e-mail address (as provided by you in the contact form)
• IP address (automatically collected by my webhost “Cloud86” and WordPress)

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Your personal data is processed for the following purpose:
• To reply to your message sent through the contact form 

HOW LONG PERSONAL DATA IS KEPT
Your personal data will not be kept longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose for which your data is collected.

SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Your data will not be sold to or shared with third parties.

YOUR RIGHT TO VIEW, CORRECT OR DELETE DATA
You have the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any previously given consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data. This means that you can submit a request to me to send you the personal data I hold about you. 

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, transfer of your personal data or (withdrawal of) your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to j.h.hulstijn[at]uva.nl.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, I ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. You may black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number in this copy. I will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. 

HOW WE SECURE PERSONAL DATA
I take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact me via j.h.hulstijn[at]uva.nl.
